It's Okay to Rest!

Oftentimes we put unnecessary pressure on ourselves to be constantly busy, especially with the extreme pressures of the modern world we live in. I feel this pressure as well, especially as a newer clinician. This post is a reminder to myself as much as it's for you.


IT'S OKAY TO REST!


Take that nap, watch that TV show, take a mental health day, don't make plans you aren't up for...We are not designed to function 24/7. In order to properly focus and complete daily tasks, we need our rest.


You didn't "do nothing" you listened to your body!
